If you enjoy running beautiful woodland trails with sparkling lakes, you can't go far wrong with Baneheia Park in Kristiansand. Bånetjønn is just one of many scenic lakes in the park, just a stone's throw from the city.

Norway's 8th longest river, the Otra empties into the sea at Kristiansand. There's some great running to be had on its banks in the Kristiansand region. The Otra Elvepart, to the northwest of the city, is a fine example.
