    La fortezza di Suceava, costruita alla fine del XIV secolo vicino alla città medievale di Suceava, è stata la residenza principale dei sovrani moldavi per quasi 200 anni, oggi monumento storico nazionale. La fortezza fu costruita alla fine del XIV secolo da Pietro il Grande, fu fortificata nel XV secolo da Stefano il Grande e distrutta nel XVII secolo (1675) da Dumitraș Cantacuzino. Oggi la Cittadella è in rovina.
