    Il castello di Talamantes fu costruito nell'XI secolo con lo scopo di difendere il valico di frontiera tra Castiglia e Aragona nelle gole di Valdeherrera e Valdetreviño. Sebbene gran parte della fortificazione sia in rovina, il muro nord e una delle sue torri sono ancora abbastanza ben conservati.
