Dichiarata Monumento Storico, la chiesa gotica di Aÿ, costruita sulle fondamenta di una struttura risalente al XV secolo, vanta una storia ricca e movimentata. Circa cinquant'anni dopo la sua costruzione, fu eretta una torre in pietra, sormontata da un'elegante guglia. Purtroppo, un incendio precoce devastò le volte appena completate.
