    L'Höllenteich, così come le cascate di Steinhöfer, il Teufelsbrücke e l'Herkules, sono tra i luoghi di escursione più belli in cui ho camminato. Ombroso d'estate, bello d'autunno, TUTTI devono essere stati qui.

    Il Ponte del Diavolo è un ponte ad arco per pedoni nel parco montano Wilhelmshöhe.
    Il traliccio del Ponte del Diavolo fu fuso dalla società Henschel nel 1826 prima che fosse di legno;
    Il Ponte del Diavolo e lo Stagno dell'Inferno prendono il nome dagli inferi, poiché nelle vicinanze si trova la Grotta di Plutone. Secondo la leggenda in questa grotta sedeva Plutone, il dio degli inferi.
    Al momento dell'opera idrica, l'acqua scorre sotto il ponte, 10 metri più in basso, nell'Höllenteich, creato da Jussow nel 1792/93.
