    Il termine "stagni ebraici" è stato storicamente tramandato dal 18° secolo. Tuttavia, non ci sono ancora prove di come gli stagni legati ai cittadini ebrei della città, che si stabilirono a Goslar nel XIII secolo, furono espulsi nel 1414 e restituiti nel 1530.
