    Un bellissimo castello si trova sull'Oude Scheldearm. Purtroppo il castello non è aperto al pubblico. Eppure un castello con una storia movimentata che ha le sue fondamenta dal X o XI secolo. Il castello doveva offrire protezione contro gli invasori normanni. Il castello non sfigura certo nella lista dei castelli più belli d'Europa

    Il castello ha le sue origini nel X e XI secolo. Antiche fondamenta indicavano che qui fu costruita una fortezza per resistere alle invasioni dei Normanni. Nel corso dei secoli, questo castello ha avuto diverse battaglie e le necessarie riparazioni e ristrutturazioni.
    Il castello è visitabile su appuntamento e in quattro domeniche di agosto e settembre.
