For panoramic vistas of the entire town, the Salzach river, and the world's longest castle complex, the castle grounds above the town offer unparalleled perspectives. Many visitors enjoy the walk up to the castle specifically for these scenic outlooks.

How long should I plan to spend exploring Burghausen Town Square and its immediate surroundings?

To fully appreciate the historic architecture, browse the shops, and perhaps enjoy a meal or coffee, plan for at least 2-3 hours in the Town Square area. Are there specific parking options recommended for visitors to Burghausen Town Square?

While the Town Square itself is largely pedestrian-friendly, parking is available nearby, typically just outside the immediate Old Town pedestrian zone.
