    Un luogo molto storico.
    Durante la battaglia di Bautzen del 20 e 21 maggio 1813, il castello di Wurschen fu il quartier generale degli alleati russi e prussiani; quindi la battaglia dell'Arco di Trionfo a Parigi è registrata come Bataille de Wurschen.

    La sede del cavaliere menzionata nel 1486 era probabilmente un castello con fossato che esisteva già intorno all'anno 1000. I proprietari furono i Signori di Kittlitz e von Luzan, dal 1498 Caspar von Sley e dal 1504 i Signori di Nadelwitz. Tra questi, la residenza del cavaliere fu elevata a maniero nel 1527.
