    Il castello o il precedente complesso del palazzo è stato magnificamente restaurato. Ci sono spesso concerti di musica classica e altri insoliti e impegnativi in biblioteca, nella cappella del castello o all'aperto. Inoltre cibo e bevande biologici, fantastiche visite guidate attraverso il palazzo e agli arieti d'acqua. C'è sempre qualcosa da fare qui.

    Già nel 1529 il giardino rinascimentale-barocco con le sue sette terrazze è stato chiamato "Himmelgarten" e per secoli è stato di proprietà della famiglia Stromer von Reichenbach. Dal 1997 in poi si è cercato di contrastare il crescente degrado del complesso storico e, dopo un'ampia ricostruzione, l'ex parco del palazzo è diventato nella primavera del 2000 il cimitero degli animali "Himmelgarten". Il portale d'ingresso storico di nuova costruzione è stato inaugurato nel 2004. Il memoriale degli animali "Himmelgarten" sarà chiuso dal 1 gennaio 2020.
