Today I have little time, so just a short tour along the Spree River with @Kathrin and @Anette.
The weather is glorious, the path is beautiful. We immediately try out the newly developed sections through the forest to Kirchhofen and from Kirchhofen to the Mönchwinkel bivouac site.
We would have liked to go further.

Before I have to take a break for four weeks, I quickly made my annual trip to see the winter aconites in bloom at Reichenow Castle. They're also blooming abundantly elsewhere in the Oderbruch region.
A walk around the Langer See (Long Lake) in Reichenow has become a must for me. There's even still ice

A relaxing day on the Oder River.
Watching cranes that seemed to be still undecided about pairing up... Very peaceful. A section of the path was closed – beavers had apparently been involved in the path construction. However, it was passable for cyclists and hikers.

Unfortunately, I didn't get very far.
The black ice on the Erpe River was too risky for me, so I turned back. It was still very interesting, though, because I was able to observe some birds up close.

It was sunny but cold on the Uckermark Cycle Route from Angermünde via Stolpe to Schwedt.
I had actually hoped to see whooper swans. Unfortunately, I didn't see them, but I did hear them.
The floodplains were still completely frozen, and there weren't any swans around on the section of the Oder River I

From Kummersdorf station to the Kummersdorf lock. It's quite busy here. Many cormorants, ducks of course, little grebes, and goosanders are taking advantage of the open water, as the canal and probably the surrounding waterways are frozen over.

Kort, men meget smuk cykeltur med @Kathrin og @tr. Efter den lange vinter tager vi afsted i dag, selvom vi ikke har hele dagen til rådighed. Men det er udelukket at gå glip af det dejlige vejr med den forårsagtige klarhed. Vi starter i Erkner og følger Sprees slyngninger på meget gode cykelstier.
