Vandring
The fountain-lamppost in the Plaza de la Virgen de los Reyes, one of the most interesting architectural hybrids in the city.
It is a work that dates from 1929, the year of the Ibero-American Exhibition, and its author is José Lafita Díaz, son of the landscaper José Lafita y Blanco. He received the commission in 1928 as part of the public spaces reform program and for the design he was inspired by the Triunfo de la Virgen del Patrocinio and, for the overflow, in which Mañara designed for the Hospital de la Caridad.
