Vandring

The Hubertusbrunnen forms the eastern end of the Nymphenburg Canal. The building is a present from the city of Munich for the 85th birthday of Prince Regent Luitpold and dates back to 1907. Originally it stood in front of the Bavarian National Museum in the Prinzregentenstraße. It was not rebuilt until 1954, but it looks like it's been here forever.

Vandring

Very popular for sitting and picnicking in summer. Beautiful sunset with a view of the Nymphenburg Palace and the Palace Canal. In cold winters, the water surface in front of the fountain (like the entire canal) turns into a great ice surface for ice skating.
