Vandring

Sweet Brown Snail by Jason Rhoades (1965-2006) and Paul McCarthy. Large sculpture of a snail that has been enlarged many times. 4.50 m tall made of fiberglass. From the artist and his teacher Mc Carthy. Location in front of the traffic center of the Deutsches Museum. The snail is a deliberate allusion to the associated themes of slowness and mobility (house on your back). So the thought of decelerating and the connection with the snail's pace comes from other road users.
