Vandring

New church building from 2000 with a very special atmosphere and light mood. This is v. A. achieved by the double shell: a glass outer shell and a set inner shell of wooden slats and surfaces. Very light and yet "warm". The south facade consists of two building-high gate wings, which are completely opened on special occasions and open the church space to the square. Spectacular. (Architects: Allmann Sattler Wappner, Munich)

One of the newer churches in Munich.
On November 26, 2000, Friedrich Cardinal Wetter dedicated it to the Heart of Jesus like the previous church; the blessing of the organ and the wall painting took place in October 2004.
