Vandring

The Klenze Building is a historic bathhouse built in 1837 according to designs by Leo von Klenze. Today, it is a landmark of the spa town.

The Klenze Building is an example of neoclassical architecture. It was the first bathhouse built in Bad Steben according to the plans of Klenze, the court architect of King Ludwig I of Bavaria.

Vandring

A total of 19 of the original 22 white lions can still be found in and around Bad Steben. These aren't real big cats, of course, but rather clay sculptures painted by artists and now resplendent in magnificent colors, like this lion in the spa gardens. The art project "Lion-Strong Bad Steben" ran in 2004.

The Klenzebau was built in 1837 as a bathhouse based on designs by Leo von Klenze. Today the building is a special highlight and one of Bad Steben's figureheads. Leo von Klenze (1784-1864) was the court architect Ludwig I of Bavaria. The Walhalla and the Liberation Hall in Kehlheim were built according to his designs.
