The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist (Slovene: Stolnica svetega Janeza Krstnika) in the city of Maribor (Slovenia) is the episcopal church of the Archdiocese of Maribor of the Roman Catholic Church in Slovenia

The church was built in 1248 in the Romanesque style. In the 14th century, the choir was extended and given a Gothic style. The nave was rebuilt in the 15th century, so that the cathedral is now completely Gothic. The baroque chapels were added in the 16th and 18th centuries.

The Church of St. John the Baptist was built in the first half of the 12th century and in the 13th century. enlarged. Preserved gravestones were built into the outer church wall. Most of them come from the church, others once stood in the cemetery, which surrounded the church until 1786.
