    Vandring

    The parish church of Sankt Laurentius in the center of Asbach was built at least three times: The first time it was built around 1200, in 1866 the devout believers replaced the now dilapidated Romanesque church with a neo-Gothic church, which was destroyed by bombs and grenades in the last year of the war in 1945. It was not until 1951 that the Saint Laurentius Church received its present-day simple, unpretentious shape. Only the tower has survived to this day, despite its venerable age of around 800 years.
