This ride gives you a taste of the spectacular hills and roads that surround the Vignamaggio estate. We start and finish at the Fattoria Vignamaggio and begin on gravel. Tuscany can be steep so be careful! Then a climb on road with views of the Chainti hills all around. We turn back towards Panzano on

It’s the 10th and final outing in our tour series in partnership with @PISSEI and for this one we are going a little wild into some of the trails and tracks of Chianti that only the locals know. We will pass through Impruneta; the home of terracotta production and trace our way back through vineyards

The penultimate ride with @PISSEI is a 100km (or near enough - feel free to add an extra kilometer if you must!) journey out to see the Saint of Cycling. On the way we pass through Vinci, the birthplace of Leonardo, and tackle the fairly steep climb of Castra and the more gentle rise to San Baronto

It's a city tour like no other for our sixth outing with @PISSEI. We begin with the essential coffee and thus caffeinated, we take a leisurely spin around the centre of Florence, including the main sights. For the fifth @PISSEI tour we took ourselves to the smaller and lesser-known Chianti town of San Polo (careful with the spelling, one "L" only as two "pollo" means chicken!). With 500m elevation gain in 50km it's one of the lighter rides we do, although some locals use the 40km loop from Grassina as

For the fourth tour with @PISSEI we have a tenth anniversary ride on the UCI Road World Championships course - with a little added extra. By which, of course, we mean beautiful back roads that only the locals know plus coffee and food!
Back in 2013 the riders came from Lucca first and then did ten laps

On this third installment of our rides with @PISSEI we are going off road! Nothing too technical here though: we will discover the bike paths that run along the river Arno, first the flat part from Florence to Signa, past Montelupo Fiorentino and then along the River Pesa. We traverse spectacular vineyards

Traveling further than our 25km loop, we have an early coffee stop and then venture along the gravel road from Panzano all the way to Volpaia: a typically quaint village on a hilltop. Photos done, we descend down into the valley and stop for lunch at Locanda Lucarelli (check the highlights) for home
