The new Cœur de France à Vélo cycle route is constantly expanding and is expected to be completed in 2027. In the meantime, some sections are already open, such as this idyllic stretch connecting Tours to Bourges. The route promises a safe and family-friendly journey, away from cars.



Along the Cher River

This route invites you to cycle from La Charité-sur-Loire train station to Éguzon-Chantôme station, closely following the historic paths of the Way of St. James (Camino de Santiago). Despite the hilly terrain that characterizes the second half of the route, the entire itinerary remains very accessible

A romantic escape through verdant landscapes, the Cyclo Bohème invites you to explore picturesque villages in the footsteps of artists like Balzac, George Sand, Claudel, and Rodin. This accessible route becomes more hilly in its final quarter, starting from La Châtre.



You'll travel from castle to castle

As its name suggests, the Scandibérique is a link between the Scandinavian countries and the Iberian Peninsula. Accessible to families and beginners, this section, dedicated to the Centre-Val de Loire region, connects Montargis and Saint-Maure-de-Touraine, from one train station to the other.

The Loire à Vélo is a legendary cycling route, accessible to a wide range of people thanks to its infrastructure, the quality of its paths, and its generally downhill profile (if you cycle from east to west). Here, we suggest following the section that crosses the Loire Valley, between the train stations

The Saint-Jacques à Vélo (Saint James by Bike) route closely follows the historic paths of the Camino de Santiago. The route has a gently rolling profile, making it accessible to a wide range of cyclists. You'll cycle along quiet country roads and dedicated cycle paths.



This variant, which passes through

This accessible route allows you to follow almost half of the Loir Valley by bike. Here, you'll start in Illiers-Combray and end in Château-du-Loir. Both towns are served by train. Two sections with significant elevation changes await you between Ruillé-sur-Loir and Marçon.



Throughout your journey, you

In this section of the Véloscénie cycle route, you'll depart from Épernon station and head towards Nogent-le-Rotrou. On this remarkable cycling route, you'll discover the history of the Loiret region along its waterways. The route alternates between the banks of the Loire River and its canals, including the Canal d'Orléans, whose construction began in 1676 to connect the Loire and the Seine.



Away from the main tourist

This route is a section of the Eure Valley by Bike itinerary. Here, you'll depart from Maintenon train station and head towards Bueil. Along the way, you'll follow the Eure River and cycle through the heart of its idyllic valley. The route alternates between peaceful greenways and equally tranquil country
