Winter hiking and a stop at a mountain hut: In winter, the Aueralm isn't just a meeting place for sledders and ski tourers.

The trail initially follows the Söllbach stream and then continues along the toboggan run through the forest. After about 1.5 hours, we reach the Aueralm. This alpine pasture at 1,300 meters above sea level is a worthwhile destination in both summer and winter for anyone wanting to stop on the terrace

Sledding fun below Rossstein and Buchstein: Our ascent begins in Kreuth at the parking lot by the Winterstube. The forest road climbs steadily through the Schwarzenbach Valley to approximately 1000 meters.



At a fork in the path, we have a choice: Straight ahead, the flat path leads to the Schwarzentenn

This easy winter hike leads from the "Gasse" district of Gmund to the shore of Lake Tegernsee and back through the town center.



Shortly after the Gasse parking lot, Kurstraße leads downhill to the left, directly to the lake

We begin our winter walk at the parking lot in the Gasse district and hike towards Oberbuchberg and Unterbuchberg to the junction with the Tegernsee High Trail. From here, we follow trail 510 to Sankt Quirin and hike down the Kramerweg to Lake Tegernsee. We continue along the footpath and cycle path

A beautiful high-altitude trail with views of Lake Tegernsee: From Rottach-Egern, this circular route first leads uphill towards Tuften and then northwards along a high-altitude path to Tegernsee. Please note that the trail is not cleared in winter and can be icy in places – sturdy footwear is therefore

A leisurely hike along Lake Tegernsee with plenty of opportunities to stop for refreshments along the way. Return to the starting point via the same route or take a shortcut by bus or boat.



From the central parking lot in Rottach-Egern, we first follow Seestraße (Lake Street), passing the spa gardens

The winter hiking trail up to the Galaun is almost always worthwhile. It's not too difficult, a cozy inn awaits at the top, and you can even bring your sled if you like. However, the forest road is not a public toboggan run.
