Atopiano di Asiago is another great place we are lucky enough to live close by. It's a wide plateau with seven small cities on top. A gravel paradise, but a great place for a road bike too.
From Feltre, you need to go down to Valsugana before climbing your way up to the plateau. You will do it riding

A classic one. One you can't miss if you visit the area.
Monte Grappa is the iconic massif of this area. Is the first big mountain you meet coming from the sea and the flatlands and before entering the "real" Dolomitic environment.
Ten ways to climb it! Some incredibly steep, some incredibly long.

Leaving Feltre heading in the valley towards Belluno, you will ride on the right side of it, avoiding the main roads traffic and enjoying a hilly route before entering Valle del Mis. You will ride on the shores of this beautiful lake before start climbing Passo Cereda. It's long one, but definitely one

An easy and great ride.
Starting from Feltre you will go to Pedavena, passing by the famous Brewery - a great idea for lunch when you will be back in a couple of hours too - and climb Croce d'Aune.
This is the opposite side compared to SDR: it's easier but still a 10km climb!
Down in the valley and you

Chiara Redaschi is a professional cycling photographer and a great Sportful friend. We've been sharing some great experiences with her in the past. An unforgettable weekend on the Dolomites, countless shootings close to our HQ, Sportful Dolomiti race last year. Here one of her favorite loops in her words

Leaving Feltre you will need to be careful for about 15km: you will be riding on a big road. It's the price to pay for all the beauty awaiting afterwards.
You will soon find yourself in Valdobbiadene, the famous Prosecco wine city. A nice climb will bring you to Pianezze and you will eventually stay up
