Rapha Copenhagen

The cycling culture in Copenhagen has come to be known the world over, so much that it is regarded as the first cycling city in the world. Located among the boutiques, restaurants and cafés in the city centre, Rapha Copenhagen provides a refuge for cyclists and a place to relax away from the bustling streets.

The Clubhouse offers the finest food and coffee along with the chance to shop the Rapha range, watch live racing on the big screens and take part in any number of the events planned in the Clubhouse through the year, from workshops to talks, which all are welcome to attend.

Rapha Copenhagen is the home of the Copenhagen chapter of the Rapha Cycling Club (RCC) and serves as a meeting place for club rides which venture out of the city and around the coast.

The Northern City Loop is the perfect ride for a quick spin if you’re short on time. Roughly 55 kilometres and with a few short climbs. The gradient of some climbs rises above double digits - up to 16 percent.

The route Braunstein Brewery promises to be another long day on the bike with a length of circa 140 kilometres. The ride in a south-western direction from the Copenhagen Clubhouse offers a nice little treat halfway the route: the Braunstein beer brewery.

The West Loop is an intermediate road ride going in a clockwise direction from the Rapha Clubhouse. The bike lanes of Nørebro and Vanløse offer an efficient way to exit the urban area of Copenhagen. But once the colours of concrete buildings slowly are changing into green forest, the fun really starts

The Dronningmølle ride starts the same as the Soldater loop. But there’s one big difference: the length of the ride. So be prepared for a long day in the saddle as you ride from the Rapha Clubhouse to Dronningmølle beach and back to Copenhagen’s city centre.

After getting your daily dose of caffeine at the Clubhouse, it’s time to jump on the bike. The Soldater loop is a medium long bike ride just below a hundred kilometres in length. The route leads you over hilly bike lanes that circle clockwise around lakes, forests and a military training ground, hence

The Amager loop is one of the Rapha Copenhagen classic road rides that starts and finishes at the Clubhouse. The route leaves the historic city centre of Copenhagen in the southern direction. After passing Christianhavn with its charming buildings and canals the tarmac winds around Amager.
