This easy hike is ideal for a relaxed family tour. Even with the stroller you can easily master this route. Start is at the parking lot Schiederweiher in Hinterstoder an der Steyr.

For this hike, it is well worth bringing along hungry, after all, you come on the more than five kilometers long nature adventure trail past three pastures. The start is made by the cozy Karlhütte, where the tour starts. Freshly fortified, you start the little hike.

This hike takes you to a special place: the longest accessible gorge in Upper Austria. The Dr. Vogelgesang gorge is over 1.5 kilometers long. The path through the wildly romantic canyon leads you over 500 steps and wooden footbridges, constantly accompanied by the sound of the Fallbach. A unique experience

Today it goes up to the highest peak of the Sengsengebirge, the Hohe Nock. The starting point of the nearly twelve-kilometer-long and varied tour is in Rettenbach - amidst a picturesque mountain landscape. After such a start, the day can only be nice.

The Oberweng Panorama Route is a varied (e-)MTB tour with a route at the foot of the Großer Pyhrgas. Magnificent panoramic view of Gr. and Kl. Pyhrgas, Bosruck, Pyhrnpass, Niedere Tauern, Warscheneck area.

Tip: definitely take a detour on foot to the Gowilalm - open in summer!

Three passes in 100 kilometers, this is what a perfect day looks like on your racing bike. Surrounded by a wonderful Alpine backdrop, you set off from Windischgarsten and conquer the Pyhrn Pass to warm up. Afterwards you can look forward to a long, not too steep descent to Liezen.



On the small streets

The third stage of the Trans National Park, which connects the Gesäuse and Kalkalpen national parks, is a demanding stage on this multi-day route. It leads from Windischgarsten to St. Gallen and gives you magnificent views of the Totes Gebirge and the Great and Little Pyhrgas.
