About Friends of the North Highland Way

I am a keen hiker and have walked and backpacked all over the Lake District, Dartmoor, Wales, Spain, northern Scotland and even climbed Kilimanjaro at 40 years of age. I was on the 219 Wessex General Hospital Army walking team for several years, often the only female. I also love horse riding and have been riding horses since I was five years old, and also did some cycling. The thrust of this event is the forerunner to the Global Climate Change event in October. We look forward to seeing the Orca and other cetaceans off the burgeoning North Highland Way.
