Noojee Tracks and Trails

Noojee is a fantastic starting point for cyclists, offering a variety of tracks and trails in a lush, heavily forested area. This mountain region is perfect for those who want to enjoy riding in the mountains without the technical demands of true mountain biking. One of the best parts? You’re unlikely to encounter another cyclist—after eight years of riding here, I’ve never crossed paths with another rider on these trails. The terrain is hilly, so be prepared for some climbs, but remember: what goes up must come down! For the growing number of e-bike enthusiasts, this area is ideal. You can tackle the hills and still get a solid workout without feeling overwhelmed.

rode this 4/12/25 It was meant to be a circular ride but the last 1km was heavily overgrown, so I backtracked home. I was unable to record the whole ride as my phone ran out of power and the battery bank was not working. I will try to find another route to Mt Horsfall.

Gentle climb up Rigde Road, Great downhill but gets quite steep on one spot, best done when the track is dry.

The ride up McCarthy's Spur to Gunns Road was straightforward, and the descent to Loch Valley Road was even more effortless. However, the real challenge awaited me and my bike on "Gleason's Track," which features a 2km long, steep incline of 20% leading up to Ridge Road. Although it was demanding, the
