The third stage starts with a magnificent view of the high alpine Griesalp. The slopes of Christihubel, Tame Andrist and Aabenberg surround you. The third day is the most relaxing of this multi-day tour, most of the time you will gently walk downhill.The element of water accompanies you as far as Reichenau: the Gornerwasser seeks its way through the beautiful nature and forms in some places extensive ramifications and small lakes. The gravel banks on the banks of the stream are suitable for a foot bath.Halfway you reach the mountain village Kiental. In the local bakery you can fortify yourself with a piece of cake and a cup of coffee. Afterwards, you will hike through forests and across meadows to Reichenbach, surrounded by impressive mountain scenery. After a delicious breakfast you start on the second day from Wengen from the southwest. The Via Alpina leads you down into the Lauterbrunnen Valley, on the way you will be rewarded with spectacular views of steep cliffs and rushing waterfalls. From Lauterbrunnen it goes back up again: the path winds alternately through colorful alpine meadows and quiet forest. Where in winter skiers waggle over the slopes, you can now enjoy the beautiful landscape.The quaint town of Mürren with its wooden houses and fine cafes is ideal for a rest. About Spielbodenalp it goes on to Rotstockhütte. The stone hut with the red shutters can be seen from afar and because of the delicious dishes a popular hiking destination.On the way to Griesalp you cross the mountain pass Sefinenfurgge. Here the alpine meadows turn into a boulder field. The path is secured in some places by ropes and the descent you master over a wooden staircase. The panorama from the 2,612 meter high summit is unique. The last six kilometers you follow a curved path down to Griesalp, your stage destination. From Grindelwald it goes over passes and through valleys to Reichenbach. The first night you spend in Wengen, which is only accessible by train or on foot. The trail leads steadily uphill and impresses with its proximity to the mighty rock and ice of the Eiger North Face. From Col du Mollendruz you walk on the Chemin du Mont Tendre to the Col du Mollendruz. It starts at about 500 meters up to the Mont Tendre and then gently down to the Col du Marchairuz.It starts at the Col du Mollendruz at 1,180 meters altitude. From here you climb several steps up to Mont Tendre. The path leads you through the middle of the Natural Park Jura Vaudois. Just before the summit you can take a break in the Chalet du Mont Tendre, where you will be spoiled with hearty and varied home cooking. From the huge terrace you can enjoy a fantastic view over the Lake of Geneva to the Alps.Freshly strengthened, you climb the last few meters to the summit. From the top you will be enchanted by a similarly unforgettable view as from the hut. From the summit, however, you have a spectacular all-round view that stretches from the Savoy to the Bernese Alps and from the Vosges to La Dôle.Through a park-like landscape, you gently descend to the Col du Marchairuz. On the way you will always come across dry stone walls, which are typical of the high pastures of the Jura. This wonderful mountain hike takes you from the Ofen Pass to Il Fuorn. For the most part, the paths lead you through the magnificent landscapes of the oldest nature park in the Alps - the Swiss National Park.It starts at the Ofenpass, where you can take the PostBus. From here you walk down to Alp Buffalora and then up to the entrance of the National Park. It goes through the barren, treeless landscape that the National Park holds for you on this route. On the way you can let your gaze wander over impressive rock formations and towards the mountain giants on the horizon. These show up in the most beautiful colors, ranging from chalk-white over rust-red to anthracite.A narrow path leads you down to Alp La Schera, where you can take a break at the only resting place of the tour. Through enchanting pine forests you descend on a quite technical way to Il Fuorn. Here there is a bus stop of the Postbus, with which you can start the journey home.

The beautiful, family-friendly "Alp Birehubel" circular route starts at the post bus stop "Gurnigel, Gantrischhütte". From here you hike past lush mountain meadows and idyllic woodland pastures to the Upper Gantrisch Hut. Then it goes gently downhill to the picturesque Gantrischseeli. Surrounded by green meadows and the high Bernese Prealps, the small lake is located in a vast moor area. On the shore you can take a relaxing break and enjoy the unique moment in nature.Maybe you'll meet some of the animals of the Alp Bire, like goats or cows, and the 13-year-old Adrian Mäder, who guards her during the summer holidays. The animals are allowed to move freely around the alp and enjoy their freedom here. If possible, they are rounded up once a day for milking. But sometimes they stay in such steep terrain that even Adrian and his crab dogs can not reach them.From the lake, after your idyllic break, you will hike a few meters up to the Alp, where the Mäder family awaits you. At the large alpine table in front of the hut, they serve you fresh goat cheese, which Adrian and his mother made themselves. After you have strengthened and enjoyed the view of the striking Gantrisch, you wander relaxed back down to the starting point.

Mount Generoso near Mendrisio is the most famous and probably the most popular mountain in Ticino - its views extend over the lake landscape, the city of Lugano, the Po Valley and the mountains from the Apennines to the Gotthard Massif and the Bernina Mountains.At the beginning you will take the cog railway from Capolago on Lake Lugano up to Monte Generoso mountain station.
