About Mjolkevegen
Mjølkevegen is a scenic cycling route in the heart of Southern Norway, leading en large on firm gravel roads through mountain landscapes and pastures from Vinstra in Gudbrandsdalen through the Valdres region to Gol in Hallingdal. With a gravel or e-bike, 5-8 days on route are ideal. Since this route leads through private lands with free grazing lifestock, it is recommended to use the Mjølkevgen Partner accommodations for overnight stays. Unlike the header (which is not editable) states, this route is mostly (almost entirely) on gravel, and NOT paved.

Lemonsjø serves as an alternative start or exit instead of Vinstra at the northern end of the Mjølkevegen cycling route. Lemonsjø can be reached with public transport (busses) from Fagernes/Beitostølen/Gjendesheim during the summer holidays. Good parking possibilities for cycling tourists travelling

When staying at Rogn Camping, this is the route to take from Slettefjellkiosken to get there (or vice versa). Continue on the roue "Mjølkevegen - from Rogn Camping into main route towards Syndin" on the next day (or use it to get here).
