About Les Others
Aventure. Nature. Culture 🌱

We follow the jagged coast with, at each pedal stroke, a look of wonder at the landscape. At the bend of a slightly tight bend, I am overwhelmed, tears come out, "damn it's so beautiful". Tonight, when we arrive at the small village of Centuri, we will let Marc fill our glasses…

To get the day off to a good start, we found nothing better than pushing the bikes along the coastal path. On the left the sea, on the right the dense maquis where a few solitary cows graze. On the track…

Brocciu and sausage, maquis that stings and scratches. In the too soft sand, the tires sink, the feet wiggle. We enter the desert, that of the Agriates. Cactus, flowers, stone and lack of fleet. Just before sunset, arrival…

From the top of the citadel of Calvi, we can see the snow-capped peaks, and look, wouldn't that be Cap Corse? Derailleur hanger that breaks, bushings on the trails, gusts of wind on the small asphalt roads. Petanque…

A departure at dawn at 7:30 am for this last day of our adventure in the Causses! But the very steep descent by which we resumed our way woke us up! The rest of the route is quieter until our final destination in the village of Millau 🥾

"You will not pass, the road is closed." The sentence fell, we will not go to the tip of the Cape, the fault of a car rally. We fall back on a small alternative road, warned by the locals "there's nothing to see there". It climbs and winds, the vegetation is dense, the road deserted, the atmosphere mystical…
