*i2030 – Mehr Schiene für Berlin und Brandenburg*

Im Projekt i2030 planen die Länder Berlin und Brandenburg gemeinsam mit der Deutschen Bahn und dem Verkehrsverbund Berlin-Brandenburg (VBB) gemeinsam den Ausbau der Schieneninfrastruktur in acht Ausbaukorridoren und einem Maßnahmenpaket für das S-Bahnnetz. Die Umsetzung der Vorhaben entfaltet eine hohe Wirksamkeit im Schienennetz der Zukunft.

Das geschieht nicht von heute auf morgen: Der Ausbau von Eisenbahninfrastruktur ist ein Marathon und braucht einen langen Atem. Dennoch: Die i2030-Planungen schreiten gut voran und erste Ergebnisse sind sichtbar. Mit einer gesicherten Finanzierung und erfolgreichen Baugenehmigungen werden kontinuierlich weitere Teilprojekte umgesetzt.

Einige unserer Ausbaukorridore können Sie mit dem Fahrrad oder zu Fuß erkunden. Wir haben dafür spannende Touren entlang alter Gleisreste und historischer Bahnhofsgebäude erstellt. In anderen Korridoren liegt der Fokus auf dem Ausbau im Bestand. Hier zeigen wir Ihnen herausfordernde Stellen die in der Planung berücksichtigt werden müssen.

Das gemeinsame Ziel ist klar definiert: Das Schienennetz nachhaltig verbessern, damit die Fahrgäste öfter, bequemer und verlässlicher unterwegs sind – für eine gemeinsame Verkehrswende. Mehr Infos unter:
