Don’t let the name fool you, the Medio Fondo is still considerably tougher than most other sportive’s longest routes, at a mighty 157 kilometres and 2,111 metres of climbing (97.5 miles, 6,926 feet).

You’ll tackle some of the Dragon Ride's most famous climbs as well as the sweeping scenery and blissfully quiet roads of the Brecon Beacons.

We've added two new sections to the 2019 route, which has also been reversed, which has added one more Cat 4 climb and one more Cat 5 climb.

The Dragon Ride's 'short' route, the Macmillan 100 takes its name from our long-standing charity partner and the 100 km distance. It's no longer bang on a metric century, but 98.7km with 1,212m of climbing is certainly not to be sniffed at!

The 2019 route has been reversed for 2021, which will take riders over the Bwlch and Rhigos from the other direction for the first time. A fresh challenge, different views, and undoubtedly a brilliant out on the bike.

The most popular route on the Dragon Ride, and for good reason, the Gran Fondo is a tough day in the saddle, with 210 kilometres (130.5 miles) and over 3,000 metres (9,842 feet) of climbing to tackle. We've added in new sections and a new major climb for the 2021 route.

Although this isn't the hardest of the Dragon Ride routes, it is still a major challenge requiring high levels of fitness, strength, and fortitude. Anybody who manages to slay this beast has completed an amazing achievement.

      **Devil Route Cancelled until 2022**
Race director difficulty rating: 11/10. Does that give you an idea?

The infamous Devil has been made *even* harder! With 4,351 metres (14,275 feet) of ascent, and the distance coming in at a monstrous 304 kilometres (189 miles).

You’ll encounter all the classic climbs of the area that have been made famous by this route, climbing Devil’s Elbow and Devil’s Staircase from the proper direction, but riding the others from the opposite direction to previous editions.

This is not for the fainthearted and is truly a bucket list achievement. Once completed you can say you’ve conquered the biggest Devil ever!
