About GRINDURO!
On October 10, 2015, the world was introduced to the first ever Grinduro!, a new format of bike racing that combines the best elements of mountain bike enduro and gravel grinder races. A global event with six locations - Grinduro! takes the party to USA, Canada, UK, Switzerland, Japan and Australia.

Grinduro! is not just a bike race. It’s a celebration of cycling with as much emphasis on the party as the ride, with excellent food, an impressive display of art and incredible handmade bikes, live music, free camping and a festival atmosphere. Its a new kind of bike race, and... you won’t want to miss this party.

Grinduro races are one long loop of a mix of pavement, dirt and singletrack, where finishing times aren’t based on overall loop time. Instead, you’ll race against the clock on only four segments that were designed to reward the most well-rounded of rouleurs. The rest of the time you ride as fast or as slow as you like, taking in the scenery and making new friends!

So: does one have to pay for Komoot/unlock region to get access to the file as a registered participant?

EN: As the course stretches over vast expanses of private land and it is the wish of the owners that it remains so, its access is only authorised on race day. To use this .gpx file in order to either ride the course before or after the event could seriously jeopardise its future. Thank you for your understanding!
