About Heimatverein Davensberg e.V.

The W4 hiking trail is a cycle path that is mostly asphalted, but also leads over field and forest paths. This was offered for the first time on hiking day 2023 due to popular demand and is aimed primarily at e-bike riders, but can of course also be done with a bio-powered bike (or on foot).

Today was a wonderful walk around Davensberg, which Frank led us on close to the edge of the village.

To top it all off, the local history association invited us to an evening by the fire with a hearty Westphalian ham or cheese platter and songs and lyrics in Low German and High German.

It was another lovely afternoon!

We start at our local history museum and first follow the pilgrim route EV3 in the direction of Münster. If we continue to follow it, after a while we will reach the district of Venne, which belongs to Senden. It is worth getting off here for a moment to look at the small church of St. John the Baptist
