Stage three of the Traws Eryri will be remembered as the one where my sense of humour waned with every forest fire road rise.



After our first grassy pedal and push to Bont Newydd, a longer tarmac section led us up into the hills and over into the gorgeous Penmachno Valley, just as the heavens opened.

We found the chunky stuff today on day two of the Traws Eryri, played about in Coed y Brenin and dried soggy bib shorts on the wind.



Sarn Helen was always set to be the more demanding part of the trail and we were glad to join it, sessioning techy bits with Tudor blowing our minds by outdoing both us
