About Bodensee-Königssee Radweg

Jahrhunderts im Franz Marc Museum in Kochel a.

On the last stage on the way from Lake Constance to Königssee you will once again experience dreamlike landscapes like from a picture book. At the beginning of the day it is a bit wavy, but more downhill than uphill.

The first impressive highlight can be found in Höglwörth. Next to the monastery with

From Chiemsee, the path first leads you through an interesting moor area. In the Salt and Moor Museum you can find out exciting details about salt production in Bad Reichenhall and the raised bog areas. Did you already know that there are carnivorous plants here?

It continues on pretty paths. The Alpine

Less distance, less incline than on the previous day - the seventh stage is a little more comfortable. After about 14 kilometers you will reach the Inn. The river, which rises in Graubünden and gushes through the Engadin as a torrent, has already reached a stately size here and shimmers in its striking

You haven't had enough lakes on your trip yet? Then look forward to the sixth stage with Tegernsee and Schliersee. This stage is quite hilly, so don't start too late so you have enough time to enjoy the lakes along the way.

After a long climb you drive down to Lake Tegernsee. During the descent, a wonderful

From the Kochelsee you start your day comfortably and with almost no gradients. On the way you can enjoy a view of the moor meadows on the Loisach. This is a magical sight, especially in the morning mist.

You can see two onion towers from afar. They belong to the oldest monastery in Upper Bavaria in Benediktbeuern

The fourth stage of the Bodensee-Königssee cycle path is all about the Ammergau Alps. Past lush meadows and through thick forests, you cycle steadily up and down through the idyllic and typical alpine landscape.

The cultural highlight of the stage is the Wieskirche in richly decorated Rococo style. But

Today's stage is all about the castle park in the Allgäu, a region where you will discover countless castles and the rugged mountain peaks are reflected in the many large and small lakes.

The first bit from Nesselwang is still quite hilly. Again and again, great panoramas and far-reaching views open up
