The trail starts directly at Füssen train station, which you can reach with the RB 68/77 line of the Bayerische Regiobahn (Bayerische Regiobahn). With the Bavarian Regiobahn (RB 55), you can travel comfortably to Osterhofen (Upper Bavaria) train station. From there, it's just a few minutes' walk to the valley station of the Wendelstein cable car, which will whisk you silently over forests and rock faces to the mountain station at 1,724 meters

To get there, take the Bavarian Regiobahn (RB 68/77) towards Füssen and get off in Kaufbeuren. From the train station, walk the southern section of the Wertach hiking trail to the edge of town. The soothing rippling of the Wertach River will always accompany you along the trail. Mostly along the river

Take the RB 13 train of the Bayerische Regiobahn to Aichach station and head straight into the Grubet, a forest area where iron ore was once mined. Today, there is an approximately two-kilometer-long adventure trail there.

You start at Schliersee train station (accessible by the RB 55 of the Bayerische Regiobahn) and initially walk along the idyllic lakeshore.
