About David Wratten
I'm a long-distance cyclist who loves to ride in places where people don't go, and when night falls, then I will pitch my tent near the closet bush, or if its a nice summer night then nothing beats sleeping out in the open.
When im not riding then nothing beats a good hike, as far away from civilization I can get and away from all man made noises so I can explore the wild outdoors and just wandering around alone, listening to all the sounds that our beautiful earth has to offer.
I've always thought of myself as a bit of a survival type of guy and when I get the chance I practice living of the land an I'm always reading and learning what wild plants I can eat. I ride with a fishing rod with the hope that one day I will catch a fish for lunch. I'm not good at fishing, though,and have only caught one in my whole life.
