The Hohe Straße is always a beautiful, quiet route. Shortly before Kleinbucha, the path turns right toward Orlamünde and the Bielerturm. This route is not recommended, as from the Bielerturm toward Orlamünde, there is only a very narrow, steep, overgrown path. Otherwise, it's a great tour.

The cycle ring is a beautiful and well-signposted cycle path. However, there are no rest stops in the north, and none at all for 25 km. There isn't a single emergency service station along the entire ring, and therefore no charging options for bikes with smaller batteries.
