The ascent to the Wendelstein via northwest/Aiblinger Hütte is not recommended in April due to too much deep snow! Better via southwest/Schweinsberg and Kirchwand, starting from Kesselalm at this time of year. Overall, it was a pretty strenuous route for me, especially because of the extremely steep
