Startpunkt war Lichtenau/Auerswalde.
Von dort durch den wunderschönen Sechsrutenwald in zügiger Abfahrt ins Chemnitztal. Dem gleichnamigen Radweg folgend Richtung Schlossteich, Hartmannhalle und Hauptfeuerwache.
Dann weiter durch den kompletten Stadtpark mit perfekten Bedingungen nach Altchemnitz und letztlich Einsiedel, wo das Highlight anstand - Bergetappe zum "Goldenen Hahn".

Great tour with lots of nature and historical highlights such as the castle and the concentration camp memorial.
The climb up the Treppenhauer is a bit rough, but can easily be done with children aged 5 and over. After that, the paths get better - forest path, road and partly asphalt up to the castle

But the little ones shouldn't be completely inexperienced.
Varied paths over roots and rocks require sturdy footwear.
