Los Encantos de Poica
This hike is on private land whose owner (Don Gaston) prepared and marked the single out-and-return trail. The beautiful hike takes about 3 hours total (in and out) but add another hour for bathing in a wonderful natural tub right next to a waterfall towards the marked end of the trail. The initial ascent is the hardest part of this otherwise not overly difficult trail. There are several spots with benches for eating your snacks. Pay the CLP 8.000 per person fee directly to Don Gaston who lives in his house next to the starting point of the trail.

Parque Llenquimau
This is a private Park with several well-marked trails. Great to immerse yourself in the cold rain forest. We did the yellow and blue trails. The blue trail has some rather difficult parts, with climbing along ropes. Absolutely recommended. Entry fee CLP 9000.
