About Mark Elliott
Too old to worry overly about speed, power, heart rates. But do love finding out about new routes, and maybe get inspired by others on the same journey. Same with the bikes really - don't use the carbons that much these days, but have a lovely Reilly gravel bike [more set up for road and light gravel than the hard stuff], and an equally lovely Genesis that makes commuting fun. Both mechanical groupsets because I spend my days surrounded by tech and it's nice to get away from it when I can. Tend to ride by myself though never object to teaming up with someone. Solo riding makes me a badass according to the Rules of Cycling, and because I also ride alone in bad weather, it makes me a double-badass. Even if an extremely slow one.
