Since my husband is unwell and we had to cancel the bike tour, I hiked up and back to the Höchstreichs Berge with my cousin 🥾because you have a fantastic far-reaching view from up there, the km indication is not correct, it's almost 10 km instead of 6🤷🏼♀️

After all the work of rebuilding the wall and painting the guest house, I wanted to use the last summer day today and rode my bike to the natural swimming pool, it was wonderful 🏊 I love our natural swimming pool then back along the cycle path on the Ruhr meadows 🚴🏼♀️

Today is the fire department festival with the opening of the new fire station in the old village center. Today with my younger cousin down to the trout ponds and back towards Bommerholz via ländchen, I ran this in May but now everything was so overgrown that we sometimes couldn't find the way, despite the dryness, the Elbsche and the ponds have extremely little water though 🤷🏼♀️

Today it is extremely hot so on the bike to the natural swimming pool 🚴🏼♀️🏊♂️I love it there the late tariff to swim costs €2.50 and it is wonderful not chlorinated but filtered from the Ruhr, it is wonderfully located directly on the lake, then back via our wooded wonderful bike path, now we enjoy

Today there was a partial solar eclipse, so we briefly went up to the summit to see the spectacle, of course almost the whole village was up there, so we spent a nice evening with neighbors and then enjoyed the evening together🍷

A small test ride to see if everything works. My husband changed the front sprockets on the bike and the cassette at the back, as well as new brakes. So I did a small round in the home zone around the Wacholderberg and everything runs like clockwork. I'm at almost 30,000 km, so it had to be done 💪🏼
