Pretty great swimming holes at this part of the river, also make a great picnic spot.Look out for the 'no dumping sign ' otherwise it's easy to miss the turn off. If you don't have a MTB just push your bike at the last part and find somewhere to stash it. Water quality can be checked online, if it's

We didn't come across any wineries! Just a bad taste going past the compost centres. You have to go way off the beaten track to find them! Rabbit island is great. You could do some of this on a road bike if you have tyres with good grip. I managed but had to go pretty slow on the gravel tracks.

I did this on a road bike but was bike touring. Roads are well sealed and cyclists are known for doing this route so car drivers were pretty considerate. Very scenic! Would highly recommend

Quite a doable but definitely a challenge with bike touring. Had all my camping kit. keep an ear out on the roads for traffic. Lots of narrow winding bits bit also known cycle route so most drivers are tolerant. Beautiful!

Pretty quiet roads (a lot of 🐑) and rolling countryside but watch out for the logging trucks and the odd car that does pass usually is going pretty fast
