Hiking boots and stick!
At 2k do not go up the steps as I did. Look for the hiking track leading upriver. Beautiful section of waterfalls.
At 2.36 you can either go up the steps or through the tunnel which is easier.
From 6k - 6.24k the path becomes wet, soggy, slippery and unclear. You'll need a stick

This is a good training hike. It is short but starts with a fairly steep uphill, followed by a slower downhill. There are horses around. Not good for strollers.

Some of the paths are a little overgrown but it's worth giving them a go. It's great to end up by the river where the dogs can run around and get cool. It's an adventure and there's always a way home!
There are 2 restaurants, one up by the fields, see the top end of the hike (Adlisberg) and one at the

Lovely forest walk. Quite a few short ups and downs with stretches of flat.
Keep an eye out for horses.

Parking is up by the Juckerhof but on busy days in summer it's best to park by Aathal station and take the bus up.

Park at the Cablecar entrance or train station.
Worth starting earlier in the morning (the Cablecar queue was about 30 mins - and 60 mins on the way down) 09.30 start/16.00 end. Ticket: chf19 2-way + chf5 2-way your dog
Closed for winter.
There is a Hütte to eat and drink at the start.
