This tour was tiring. More difficult than medium difficult. On the descent there were several steep paths that were very difficult to walk on, very slippery and dangerous. You also have to plan lots of breaks. In total we needed 6 hours. I can't recommend it in wet weather, at least not this descent.

If you walk the loop like we did, then the ascent is along the creek on a deer trail. Lots of opportunities to refresh yourself in the creek. But you should be very sure-footed for this part. Unfortunately, there is nothing at the turning point. The way back on a gravel path is more relaxing.

Circular route from Neuwerk to the reservoir and back along the Bode with small challenges. Mainly on paved hiking trails, but also challenging nature trails. At the reservoir you can cross a suspension bridge for a fee, fly over the gorge on steel cables or walk down the small dam wall.

On the Brocken you have a great all-round view, a few refreshment stops and an interesting museum. At the end of our tour we quickly bought

Excursion with elementary school children easy to manage. There was a lot to discover for them, hence the slow average pace.

Very nice tour that runs along perfect hiking trails throughout. Magnificent view of Seefeld and the surrounding mountains. The path is steep, but very easy to walk on, even in bad weather.
Alternatively, a path that runs parallel to the railway tracks would also be conceivable. It goes straight up the
