The first way up is straight up and not used a lot, hiking poles recommended. The rest of the hike is nice. I had to go down through the village but the path goes all the way back if you like

Well shaded, most of the path is wide and flat, sometimes concrete, but bring Trekking poles because it's steep. So many options to hike farther too

You can park by the lake or by the church in the village.
Some places are big rocks, you need the rope to climb up.
There is a restaurant on the way back, I recommend their jajangmyeong (noodles and brown sauce)
