The descent from 53 to 56 km is excellent. Perfect road surface. Steep climb just before the descent. Lovely scenery along the entire route

Steep climb with good views along the way. Wonderful views over Tromsø from the top. Count all 1203 steps. Cable car option for descent or ascent costs NOK320.

Look out for the gate at the trail junction. The main trail continues. You want to open the gate and descend the ridge. The gravel can be deceptively loose in places.
