A wonderful hiking tour. Highlight was the only bar open in Epinel = a revelation = tastiest wood-fired pizza ever. The way back was very relaxed along the river.

Everything planned correctly!!! Steeper ascent with a challenging bridge and the sun at your back. After a magnificent view, then a not-so-steep descent and a more harmless stream crossing... perfetto:-)

Very nice tour. Remarkable what the population has achieved, barely 2 years after the huge natural disaster in June/July 2024. Come and support Cogne and the Gran Paradiso region with visits, advertising, food & drink, it is beautiful here and warm hospitality!
