In the end, due to time constraints, we took the gondola from Betten valley station to Bettmeralp. The batteries of the eBikes were still 3/4 and more full after 47 km. The 2022 eBikes are really great!

@Dina Either you go back to Bettmeralp before the ascent to the Eggishorn mountain station (can be done in an estimated 6 hours), or you continue to the mountain station and hike up the Eggishorn itself. From the mountain station to the Horn (with a brilliant view !) it is about 45 minutes.

A very varied circular hiking trail. Plenty of nice seating. Plenty of water for children (and adults too). Unfortunately, the forest pub was out of drinks. Make sure you make a reservation at the trout restaurant. It was very busy. The food was delicious!
